Operating effectively in a team environment

We have a structured flow of work, starting at one of the Directors, who evaluates the level of complexness of a project and then delegates the work to one or more of the Quantity Surveyors in the office.

Due to efficient communication lines at Kelly and O'Callaghan Limited, projects are always open for discussion and in this way we can find the most effective and efficient method to handle a project.

Throughout the entire duration of the project we are constantly in contact with other members of the professional team, like the Architect, Structural Engineer and Mechanical and Electrical Consultant. Every employee at Kelly and O'Callaghan has his own dedicated e-mail and telephone to ensure that communication runs smoothly.

We are also in regular contact with the Client, Main Contractor and Sub-Contractors to ensure that all aspects of the financial and practical side of the contract are in order.

All steps throughout the duration of the project are monitored by one of the Directors or Senior Quantity Surveyors, to ensure that high quality of work is maintained. After each stage of a project is completed, it is reviewed and all calculations are double checked.
