It is common custom and practice for both the Client and the Contractor to sign the Final Account Statement to signify that the Final Account figure represents the full and final settlement of all claims etc.

Although a Final Account Statement generally has no status under most forms of contract, it does bring about a sense of finality to the negotiations leading up to the agreement of the Final Account.

Kelly and O'Callaghan Limited offer to undertake on behalf of the Client all works entailed to settle the final account. We will facilitate final account meetings in either our own office or if there is more convenient facilities, we will gladly travel.

Full analysis of all submitted by the Contractor, or the Contractor's Quantity Surveyor will be reviewed closely and any anomaly will be queried vigorously.
