Description: Extension of additional office space on the ground floor to the fourth floor to the south through the installation of new piles and construction of slimdeck flooring. One additional floor (5th floor) is being created. The works involve a large enabling/demolitions package which involves the strengthening of existing columns and the removal of load bearing concrete facade panels. Works also include for the fit-out of the 3rd and 4th floors which the client will be accommodating.

This project is a management contract, whereby the main contractor manages the whole construction process in return for a fee. With this project the main contractor will carry out construction works (for example piling, structural steel, etc.) and controls and programs for the specialist contractors involved.

Kelly and OCallaghan is responsible for pricing the Bills of Quantities, pre-contract negotiations, preparation of interim valuations, procurement of sub-contract packages and Final Account settlement.
