Company – Health & Safety Statement
Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 1989 every employer is required to prepare a Safety Statement.
This Safety Statement shall be brought to the attention of all employees, full time or temporary. This Safety Statement outlines safe systems of work while visiting a site, site hazards and is meant to be brought to the attention of all management and employees of Kelly & O’Callaghan Limited to outline any duties/procedures to be followed so as to comply with any relevant legislation, in particular the 1989 Act, and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2001.
It is the intention of Kelly & O’Callaghan Limited to comply with all relevant legislation and provide employees with a safe environment during site visits, and also enable employees to be able to identify unsafe practises on site. All employees will be expected to comply with policies and procedures as described in relevant sections of the Safety Statement.
